Micro Pick and Place (MPP) System
Easy Control of ultra-small volumes (in the picoliter range)
Photo: MPP-300 Micro Pick and Place Standard System
– PicoPipet, pico-pipetting device
– PicoPipet holder 40 mm
– Compass, video microscope
– Joystick manipulator
APPLICATIONS
- Picking and placing micro targets (> 5 um) for transferring them.
Single cells/cell colonies
– single cells into PCR tubes
– circulating tumor cells (CTCs) on micro-devices
– and other cells/colonies
Microorganisms
– Algae
– Fungi
– Yeasts
– Parasites
– And other micro-organisms
Microdrops
Protein crystals
Metal particles
And MORE
……………….*The targets must be in non-adherent status.
- Micro liquid application/spotting at the picoliter level
FEATURES
The Micro Pick and Place System makes it possible to transfer micro targets such as single cells one by one from one place to another while observing the targets with a microscope. The system is based on the PicoPipet that includes a small electro-osmotic pump. The system can be operated intuitively and does not require speciality knowledge nor training. All team members can now easily control suction/hold/discharge of ultra-small volumes (in picoliter range).
